Hewlett-Packard (HP) make sure the competitive position in the x86 blade server vendor. For the second quarter of 2008, they again reach the top position.

Results are based on the assessment industry analyst company IDC. Raised with this, HP’s claim for six successive quarter – since the second quarter of 2007 – the lead in unit shipments x86 blade servers.

Data from IDC, for the second quarter of 2008, HP recorded got the market share and 48.3 percent annual growth rate of 66.5 percent.

For factory revenue, HP also claimed able to maintain its position for three successive quarter – since the fourth quarter of the year 2007 – to the x86 blade server segment Raised by 46 percent market share.

Meanwhile, the global reach of the HP factory and unit shipments of 50.1 percent of the total blade server market worth U.S. $ 1.2 billion.
